A fantastic apertif for when you're about to grill up some carne asada. The mezcal on my bar right now is super smokey, but it works great. I'm often disappointed by cocktails with orange juice, but man this is good. Definitely worth a try if you want something different. From Portland's Clyde Common.
1.5oz Cynar 70
.5oz Mezcal
1oz Orange Juice
.25oz Lime Juice
.25oz Simple Syrup
1oz Soda Water
Shake everything but the soda water with ice. Double strain into a Collins glass with ice and top with soda water.
