New York Sour

2oz Old Overholt Bonded Rye
1oz Lemon Juice
.75oz Simple Syrup
1oz Red Wine

Combine whisky, lemon juice and simple syrup into a shaker over ice and shake for approx. 15 seconds or until chilled. Pour over rocks into an ice filled old fashioned or rocks glass. Pour the wine over the back of a bar spoon into the drink to create the float.
